Viksit Bharat @2047 is the national vision of building a developed India by 2047. The vision seeks to encourage the participation of citizens, particularly the youth, in shaping the country’s development journey through ideas, innovation and collective efforts. To strengthen youth participation in this vision, the Government of India launched ‘Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’ on 11 December 2023, providing young people with opportunities to share their ideas and perspectives for the development of the nation. The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue (VBYLD) is a youth-focused initiative aligned with this vision. It provides young people with a platform to present their ideas, perspectives and innovative solutions and encourages meaningful participation in the development of India. The initiative brings together young people through a structured process of participation and dialogue, leading to the national-level Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue 2025–26 witnessed enthusiastic participation from the youth of Madhya Pradesh through various stages of the programme, including the Viksit Bharat Online Quiz, Essay and Blog Writing, and Vision Pitch Deck presentations. More than 1.79 lakh youth from Madhya Pradesh participated in the online quiz, while 1,986 youth took part in the Essay and Blog Writing phase. Following the subsequent selection process, 45 young participants were selected to represent Madhya Pradesh at the national-level Viksit Bharat Young Leaders’ Dialogue. The programme provided young participants with an opportunity to present their ideas, innovative solutions and perspectives towards the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, while encouraging active youth participation and leadership.
