38th National Games 2025

"Madhya Pradesh Shines at National Games 2025 with 82 Medals"

Madhya Pradesh delivered an impressive performance at the 38th National Games 2025 in Uttarakhand, securing a total of 82 medals—34 gold, 26 silver, and 22 bronze. The state ranked fourth in the overall medal tally, showcasing its growing strength in multiple sports. With exceptional performances from its athletes, Madhya Pradesh continues to emerge as a powerhouse in India's sporting landscape.

The Khelo India program was started by the Government of India in 2016-17 in the place of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyaan. Competitions of sub-junior level, Junior level and Senior Level are organised under the Khelo India program. Abolishing the Urban Infrastructure Program the Government of India has started the sports infrastructure development program under Khelo India. Under this financial aid is being provided for the several works.

SPORTS SCIENCE CENTRE

The Sports Science Centre, TT Nagar Stadium, Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare (DSYW), caters to all the Elite Sports Academies run by the Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Government of M.P. The Sports Medicine Centre was established in 2006-2007.
